Green Gold Animation Pvt ltd was started in 2001 by Mr. Rajiv Chilaka , with just 8 employees. It now has more than 100 employees working on some of the most path breaking original Indian content. It has earned an unique distinction of being the number one Indian Animation Content provider to Turner International. It is also one of the first few entrants in the Indian animation industry with the unique knowledge of developing original IP Content. It created a niche for itself in the industry by producing Vikram Betal, Krishna series and the hugely popular Chhota Bheem.  

One of the initial series of Green Gold which took a big step towards its popularity was the Krishna movie series on Cartoon Network. It was adjudged as the top show across all kid's channels in 2007. Green Gold's Krishna - The Birth was awarded the "Outstanding Indian Content" award at Ficci Frames 2007 followed by TBS Digicon’s Special Award for Indian Territorial award for 2007. Krishna in Vrindavan won the prestigious FICCI BAF(Direct to DVD) award for the year 2009.  

Green Gold's super hit series on Pogo 'Chhota Bheem' is the winner of the Best Animated TV Series  award at the ‘Golden Cursor Awards 2009 held in Mumbai.  

Green Gold has produced more than 39 episodes of Chhota Bheem aired on Pogo every Sunday at 9.30 AM helping the channel to become the number one kids channel with an amazing market share of 9%.
